Trata-se de um ex-livro de biblioteca (de Hammersmith, Londres) como tal tem carimbos, escritos a caneta nas páginas e cartões de registos colados (exemplo na foto 5).

Tem também a marca do registo na biblioteca na lombada, foto 2, em baixo, ao lado de ""Harvard", assim como as marcas deixadas pela fita-cola na sobrecapa e no verso das capas, fotos 5 e 8.

Sobrecapa usada, falta um pedaço da camada protectora plástica, em baixo, sobre o pedestal da estátua, o que expôs a camada mais fina de papel, e tem um pequeno rasgão no topo da lombada, foto 2.

Tem também um selo branco, da biblioteca, na página de rosto, à direita de ""FANGER"", foto 6, que se repete na página 211, no mesmo sítio, assim como um carimbo a tinta preta, ""Hammersmith Public Libraries", na página .

De resto, o miolo está impecável, tem apenas os sublinhados, a carvão, que pode ver na foto 7, em dois capítulos do índice, que não se repetem ao longo do texto, que está sem notas, sublinhados ou assinaturas de posses.

O papel é de alta qualidade, muito branco.
