Jaeger-LeCoultre Serie Unique Triplo Calendario + Fase da Lua Ouro 18K Edicao Limitada 150 Anos

This is a super rare piece created for the 150th anniversary of the brand in 1983. Number 125 of 600 created (Unfortunately, not many of them are left in circulation due to being 18k Gold).

Jaeger-LeCoultre is called the watchmaker's watchmaker and this is not by chance as this piece demonstrates.

A true testament to what Jaeger was and is, fitting this level of complications (triple calendar: Day, Date, Month and Moon Phase all with Quick Set) in such a thin movement and elegant watch.

Full service in February 2024 in a Jaeger representative in Lisbon, The movement was fully disassembled, cleaned, oiled and tuned (Everything works smoothly).

It has very light scratches on the glass and case. Although they can be easily polished (Mineral glass and 18k Gold) I have declined the offer to do so on the last service as personally, I prefer to have it like this (as you can see by the photos the edges are very sharp showing that likely it was never fully polished).

Every year Jaeger-Lecoultre puts together a pop-up exhibition around Christmas time in major cities like London, Paris, Rome etc.. Where they display their best creations and have some of their watchmakers and RP's speak to you and explain the history and complications of each watch and even let you try some watchmaking yourself (like Perlage and gilhoche).
